4 Types of Live Programs Available

Silent Hunters

As predators of the night sky, owls are fascinating birds.
No creature is built to hunt like the owl.  Much mystery and curiosity surround this silent flier.  Encounter a Great Horned Owl, a Short-eared Owl, a Barn Owl, and a Barred Owl.  Learn why it is wise to “give a hoot” about these nocturnal birds of prey.

Endangered and Threatened Raptors

Top food chain predators are particularly vulnerable to endangerment, especially when they are specialists at eating mostly one favored prey item.  In this presentation learn the history of endangered species and some of the restoration efforts of humans to recover their low numbers.  Bald Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, Barn Owls, and Ospreys are presented in this unique program!

Airborne Community

Explore the relationships of raptors to one another, their prey, and their habitat. This program presents eagles, hawks, owls, and falcons to teach ecology, natural history, and raptor biology. How they collide with our modern world lays the groundwork for conservation and personal stewardship.

Fast, Long Wings

Falcons have long been in the minds and eyes of people throughout history.  Egyptians called them gods and ancient Oriental falconers harnessed their speed and agility for hunting.  Study these special speedy raptors as you meet the insect and rodent-catching American Kestrel, the magical Merlin, and the fastest animal in the world-the Peregrine Falcon!
